Job summary

SOSI is seeking an SCA Analytic Linguist to join our team in Reston, Virginia, supporting analysis of foreign language material and translations for ongoing investigations. The role requires strong linguistic expertise, attention to context, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Qualified candidates will have fluency in Spanish, a security clearance (in-scope Secret), and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and critical thinking

Qualifications

• Fluency in the Spanish language is required and must be accurate.
• Bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze intercepted materials and review translations for accuracy and context.
• Identify indicators and patterns to support investigative operations.
• Provide quality assurance on linguist work products including translations and voice identification.
• Report findings to Linguistic Supervisor on a daily basis.
