Job summary

Sentar is seeking an Analytic Editor to support core IC missions at Ft Meade. The role focuses on SIGINT reporting/editing, ensuring accuracy, and conforming to policy and style standards.

You will draft and review intelligence products and provide guidance on dissemination, technical writing, and mentoring. Candidates should hold a TS/SCI with an active poly, and have a background in English, journalism, or technical writing.

Qualifications

• Clearance: TS/SCI with Active Poly.
• Degree in English, Journalism, or Technical Writing preferred; any field acceptable.
• Level II: HS diploma/GED + 9 yrs exp, or Associate +7 yrs, Bachelor's +5 yrs, Masters +3 yrs, Doctoral +2 yrs.
• Level III: HS diploma/GED +12 yrs exp, or Associate +10 yrs, Bachelor's +8 yrs, Masters +6 yrs, Doctoral +4 yrs.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and edit serialized-product reports and other intelligence products.
• Prepare information for publication by reviewing content, tags, distribution, classification, and caveats.
• Ensure products conform to reporting policy guidance and style standards.
• Provide writing, information organization, and distribution guidance; mentor as needed.
• Possibly write reports, respond to foreign release and ORCON requests, answer information requests for Government personnel.

Sentar is seeking Analytic Editor to support core Intelligence Community (IC) missions at Ft Meade and the extended enterprise locations. As an Analytical Editor, you will be given the opportunity to showcase your SIGINT Reporting/Editing expertise while supporting missions that are vital to our national security.

• Provide information to customers by drafting, reviewing, and editing serialized-product reports and/or other intelligence products and services (e.g., working aids, databases, briefings, etc.), in accordance with information-sharing policies and standards
• Prepare the information for publication or presentation by reviewing and editing the content and/or externals (where relevant, such as TAGs, distribution, classification, caveats, title, and Information Needs), verifying the accuracy of source records (if applicable), and assessing the appropriateness of the dissemination format/vehicle.
• Ensure that products conform to customer reporting policy guidance and style standards.
• Provide writing, information organization, reporting, and distribution guidance and additional mentoring as needed.
• Perform some or all of the following functions: write reports, provide input for the Government to respond to foreign release and ORCON release requests, research and prepare responses to customer requests for information and other queries for use or decision by Government personnel, review customer draft documents for accuracy and adherence to original SIGINT, prepare readressals of Second Party products for use or decision by Government personnel, and provide input to the Inspector General Quarterly Report (after review by Government personnel).

Clearance: TS/SCI with Active Poly

Education

• A degree in English, Journalism, or Technical Writing is preferred, but a degree in any field is acceptable

• Level II: Entry is with a high school diploma or GED plus 9 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience, a Masters Degree and 3 yrs of relevant experience, or a Doctoral Degree and 2 yrs of relevant experience

• Level III: Entry is with a high school diploma or GED plus 12 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience, a Masters Degree and 6yrs of relevant experience, or a Doctoral Degree and 4 yrs of relevant experience

Relevant Experience

• Relevant experience must be in writing, editing, or producing technical/analytic reports or products, and must be related to SIGINT or Information Assurance; and may also include performing intelligence or language analysis.
