Job summary

Cencora is seeking an Analyst, Warehouse Automation to design, test, and deploy Visualization/SCADA solutions that meet Material Handling requirements. You will build SCADA displays, program clients/servers, and document infrastructure while supporting cybersecurity initiatives.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related experience, with collaboration across teams and a focus on BI initiatives. This is a part of Cencora’s health-focused mission.

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum two years of directly related experience.
• Experience with SCADA and software development life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy visualization/SCADA solutions for Material Handling.
• Assist with displays programming for SCADA clients/servers.
• Document infrastructure and SCADA solutions.
• Collaborate on cybersecurity design, testing, and deployment.
• Create and modify documentation, standards, and training guides.
• Maintain accurate project and task information for management.
• Participate in all lifecycle phases: requirements to maintenance.

Job Details

Summary

Under the direction of a Sr. Manager or Director, the Analyst, Warehouse Automation develops, tests, and deploys Visualization/SCADA solutions that cater to Cencora's Material Handling business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of displays and programming of SCADA clients/servers.
• Assist with creating and modifying documentation of new and existing infrastructure.
• Work with PLC functions, syntax, and other programming techniques to assist the SCADA group with the development, testing, and rollout of process control systems in support of user group requests.
• Participate in the design, development, testing, and implementation of technologies to best meet the organization’s cybersecurity needs.
• Assist with creating and modifying documentation of the SCADA solution, standards, and training guides.
• Keep the management updated with accurate project and task information.
• Participate in the solution life-cycle phases: requirements, design, development, documentation, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Assist with business intelligence initiatives and projects.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Experience And Educational Requirements

The candidate requires an understanding of Software solutions. Normally requires some training in fields such as business, project management, administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, and computer sciences generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of two (2) years of directly related and progressively responsible experience.

Key Skills And Expertise

• Programming skills in SQL Server/Oracle required.
• Understanding SCADA concepts and functions is a must.
• Experience with User Interface design and optimization is preferred.
• Programming skills in Visual Studio/Java/Python experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Siemens and/or Allen Bradley PLC interfaces, syntax, and networking is a plus.
• Experience with HTML and SVG files is a plus.
• Experience with writing Test plans and user acceptance testing is a plus.
• Demonstrated issue resolution, analytical and problem-solving skills, including debugging application code and interface messaging.

• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with various levels within the organization (Technical and non-technical resources, external vendors, etc.).
• Good interpersonal skills; effective team player.
• Strong decision-making skills and customer service skills.
