TechEquity Ai is a non-profit organization dedicated to making AI accessible for everyone. We break down barriers to AI knowledge and innovation, ensuring that all individuals—regardless of background—have the opportunity to engage with and leverage AI for positive transformation. Through initiatives like the Ai Summit, we are building a global, inclusive ecosystem that fosters collaboration, innovation, and ethical AI development.
This position requires a minimum commitment of 25 hours per week for at least four months, with the possibility of extension. Volunteers receive structured training, regular mentorship, and the chance to take ownership of impactful initiatives. Cross-department work will be required, offering valuable collaboration experience across diverse teams. Those who demonstrate strong performance may be promoted from Analyst to Associate. This opportunity is ideal for those looking to grow professionally, build a strong network, and gain credibility in the AI and social impact space. For volunteer work shorter than six months, a two-week transition notice will be provided by both parties to ensure a smooth conclusion or transition of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Research: Identify and evaluate potential speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, partners, and audience through detailed market and stakeholder research, aligning opportunities with the event’s mission and themes.
- Data Analysis: Gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity in reports and systems.
- Strategic Insight: Analyze industry trends, competitor activity, and audience needs to inform sales strategies, partnership targeting, and event programming.
- Content & Asset Management: Collaborate with marketing and design teams to organize and refine speaker, sponsor, and exhibitor materials for use in promotional campaigns and on-site event presentations.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with business development, marketing, and project management teams to ensure all activities are aligned and executed effectively.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in research, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Marketing, Communications, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience (including internships or academic projects) in research, business development, or event coordination.
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to evaluate exhibitor and partner relevance.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional correspondence.
- Experience with CRM systems, website content management, and data tracking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and other presentation tools.
- Knowledge of AI, technology, or nonprofit sectors is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Apollo, Asana) for tracking outreach and engagement activities.
- Familiarity with stakeholder communications in an event or partnership setting (e.g., speaker or sponsor coordination).
- Ability to translate research into strategic recommendations for outreach or programming.
- A passion for research-driven decision-making and contributing to well-organized, impactful events.
- Comfort working independently in a remote environment, strong collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Interest in ethical technology, public impact work, or nonprofit sectors.
