Ares Wealth Management Solutions (AWMS) seeks a client services professional to support investor services, onboarding and transfer agency operations in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment in New York.

You'll handle inquiries, process shareholder transactions, assist with proxy coordination, and collaborate with affiliated brokers and internal teams to deliver accurate service and robust controls.

Qualifications

2+ years of customer service experience required; phone support experience preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Ability to learn and utilize service provider technology systems.
Effective communication with external financial advisor clients and investors.
Highly organized and dependable.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality shareholder servicing to stockholders and financial advisors, answer inquiries, resolve issues, and make outbound calls as needed.
Provide pre-sale shareholder operational support.
Assist in timely processing of shareholder transactions, including distributions, redemptions, statements, and tax reporting.
Coordinate proxy voting procedures.
Ensure timely communication with affiliated broker-dealers.
Assist with broader operations functions as needed.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for assisting with client servicing and transfer agency operations within the AWMS client services department, which encompasses four key areas: Investor/Advisor Services, Transfer Agency Oversight, Onboarding, and Controls and Enablement

Primary Functions & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality shareholder servicing to our existing stockholder and financial advisor base including but not limited to answering inbound phone and written inquiries, researching, and resolving shareholder related matters and making outbound calls as needed
Provide pre-sale shareholder operational support
Assist in the execution of timely and accurate processing of shareholder transactions including distribution payments, redemptions, statements, and tax reporting
Assist in the coordination of proxy voting procedures
Ensure timely and accurate communication with affiliated wholesaling broker-dealer
On an as needed basis, assist with the private equity firm’s broader operations functions

Experience Required

2+ years of customer service experience required; phone support experience preferred.
Proven ability and strong desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment required.
Ability to learn and utilize service provider technology systems required.
Effective communication skills required, including ability to interact with external financial advisor clients and investors.
Highly organized, with a conscientious approach to work and dependability required.
Investment management operations, transfer agent, accounting and/or fund administration work experience is beneficial.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
Role is a non-FINRA licensed position.

The anticipated rate for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus.

$65,000 - $85,000
