Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an analyst to perform moderately complex analysis of information and data within a supply chain context. You will work under general supervision, analyzing and reporting on the impact of proposed solutions and assisting in driving change across the organization.

The role requires at least 3 years in a supply chain or business role, solid Excel skills, and willingness to travel up to 5% for business purposes. Salary transparency is emphasized in the posting.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or HS Diploma and experience required, or Walgreens Supply Chain Co-op program
• Intermediate Excel skills demonstrated (SUM, borders, column width, charts, wrap, sort, headers/footers)

Works under general supervision and exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Analyzes and reports on the impact of current or proposed solutions. Assists in driving change as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs moderately complex analysis of information, problems, and/or data under general supervision. Makes recommendations for the review of more senior staff members.
• Tracks, monitors and measures the benefit of implemented solutions for moderately complex issues, applying company policies and procedures in the resolution of a variety of issues. May also perform gap analysis.
• Communicates perceived risks to senior staff members and leadership with recommendations for mitigation.
• Computes metrics involving moderately complex issues.
• Develops, analyzes and disseminates moderately complex reports.
• Builds productive internal/external working relationships to work collaboratively. Shares knowledge with the team.

Basic Qualifications

• BA/BS OR High School/GED + at least 3 years' experience in a supply chain or business role OR successful completion of Walgreens Supply Chain Co-op Program OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 4 years of experience in a supply chain or business role.
• Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
• Willing to travel up to/at least 5% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Business, and at least 1 year of experience in a supply chain or business role
• Power BI and Databricks
• Experience with Routing Software and or TMS System, AS400
• Common carrier experience LTL and TL or Intermodal
• Freight payment experience
