Whirlpool Corporation in Benton Harbor, MI is seeking an Analyst for Corporate Strategy & Portfolio Management to join an onsite team reporting to the C-suite. The role focuses on oversight of minority interests in overseas markets, support for board materials and senior leadership, and managing competitive intelligence activities.

The ideal candidate holds at least a Bachelor’s Degree with 1+ years in business analysis and project/change management, and demonstrates strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Own 3-4 quarterly competitive intelligence reports for senior leadership.
• Assist with creation of Board, Senior Leader, or Executive Committee materials.
• Support, as needed, with M&A transactions.

This Role In Summary

Whirlpool is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Analyst, Corporate Strategy & Portfolio Management. This is an onsite role and will be located in Benton Harbor MI. The Strategy & Portfolio Management team is aligned with the C-suite at Whirlpool and drives initiatives in three major areas: (i) oversight of Whirlpool’s minority interests in Europe, China, and India; (ii) support in strategic center activities, including but not limited to Board materials, senior leadership materials, and select strategic projects; and (iii) management of competitive intelligence activities.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Support with internal & external stakeholder engagement and, as appropriate, issue resolution on select topics across one or more of Whirlpool's minority interest entities
• Build recurring financial reports and update forecasts for Portfolio
• Own 3-4 quarterly competitive intelligence reports to send to senior leadership
• Assist, as needed, with creation of Board, Senior Leader, or other Executive Committee materials
• Support, as needed, with any M&A transactions

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1+ years of Business Analyst experience
• 1+ years of experience in project management or change management

Preferred Skills And Experiences

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Mathematics
• Communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Experience delivering on short time frames and commitment to meeting deadlines
• International experience (personal or professional)
