Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Sr. HRIS Analyst to lead the design, enhancement, and optimization of Workday and other HR technology solutions across the enterprise.

You'll collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and business leaders to drive process improvements, deliver workforce insights, and ensure systems evolve with the organization. This on-site role requires residing within commuting distance of Temple, TX.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or MIS.
  • Five or more years of progressive HRIS experience.
  • Experience supporting Workday and partnering with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT teams.
  • Strong understanding of HR business processes including core HR, benefits, compensation, recruiting, talent management, and reporting.
  • Experience leading HR technology projects through full lifecycle including requirements gathering, testing, implementation, documentation, and end-user support.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify process improvements and recommend technology solutions.
  • Experience developing complex reports, dashboards, and data analysis using Workday reporting tools, Excel, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of HR system integrations, data governance, and data integrity best practices.
  • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality customer support and service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for HRIS questions and issues by researching and resolving system, policy, and transactional inquiries.
  • Serve as a key resource for HR technology across McLane, including HR, benefits, compensation, recruiting, development, and vendor integrations.
  • Lead and support complex HR technology projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, proper testing, issue tracking, and successful implementation.
  • Assist in evaluating new system functionality and recommend process improvements and technology solutions that enhance the People function.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design specifications, testing, implementation, documentation, and ongoing support.
  • Partner closely with Corporate HR, Payroll, and IT teams to ensure data integrity and improve HR systems and processes.
  • Prepare and execute system testing to validate enhancements, upgrades, and modifications prior to implementation.
  • Develop and maintain HRIS processes, procedures, training materials, and end-user documentation.
  • Create complex reports, dashboards, and data analysis using Workday reporting tools, Excel, and other reporting solutions.
  • Monitor system performance through audits, reports, and ongoing analysis.
  • Support benefits administration processes, vendor interfaces, and data exchanges as needed.
  • Assist with open enrollment support, issue resolution, and field HR reporting and correction requests.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure system-related inquiries are resolved within established timeframes.

As a Senior HRIS Analyst, you'll lead the design, enhancement, and optimization of Workday and other HR technology solutions that support teammates across the enterprise. Working closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and business leaders, you'll drive process improvements, support high-impact projects, deliver meaningful workforce insights, and help ensure our systems evolve alongside the needs of our growing organization.

This role is ideal for an experienced HRIS professional who enjoys leading complex initiatives, leveraging technology to solve business challenges, and influencing how HR services are delivered. This is an on-site position which will require the candidate to report and work from the office. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Temple, TX.

What You’ll Do:
