Job summary

American Airlines is seeking an Analyst/Sr Analyst in Fort Worth, TX to support the Supply Chain Performance team. You will provide analytical support using databases and visualization tools, serve as a liaison with internal and external partners, and help define project scope, schedules, and progress reports across multiple departments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong analytics with Oracle/SQL/Databricks/Tableau, and the ability to travel as needed.

What you'll do

• Provides analytical support through databases and visualization tools both on a regular reporting schedule as well as on an ad hoc basis


• Represents the company and serves as the principal intermediary in business transactions with both internal and external organizations


• Defines project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organizes and leads project status and working meetings; prepares and distributes progress reports; manages risks and issues; corrects deviations from plans; and performs delivery planning for assigned projects


• Successfully communicate relevant program information to multiple departments such as Engineering, Marketing, Production and Program Management on a regular basis


• Coordinates all required strategic sourcing functions, from establishing internal stakeholder requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent related experience/training

• Working knowledge of technical tools for analysis, databases and visualization : Oracle, SQL, Databricks, Tableau, etc.

• Strong statistical analysis, data modelling, and presentation development and delivery skills
