Job summary

Hines is seeking a capable professional to support its private wealth capital markets group with due diligence and investor communications in New York. The role focuses on responding to DDQs/RFIs, conducting analyses, and preparing client materials related to investment vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in institutional real estate or investment management, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline.
  • 2+ years of related experience in institutional real estate, investment management, or investor relations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Familiarity with real estate terms and institutional investment vehicles is preferred.
  • Ability to perform numerical and financial calculations.

Responsibilities

  • Support fundraising and the Private Wealth Solutions Capital Markets Group with due diligence, responding to investor inquiries and due diligence requests.
  • Assist the Due Diligence team in daily operations and communications.
  • Respond to DDQs, RFIs, and investor/consultant inquiries.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and prepare materials to support capital raising and fund management.
  • Explain specifics about Hines’ past, current and prospective investment vehicles.
  • Create documents and communications for meetings with investors; may update surveys and data room content.

Responsibilities
  • Support Hines’ global fundraising and efforts of the Private Wealth Solutions Capital Markets Group with a focus on due diligence activities related to active and future investment vehicles. Respond to current and prospective investor inquiries and due diligence requests in support of capital raising and investor retention efforts. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Support the Private Wealth Solutions Due Diligence team in operational and daily business matters.
  • Respond to due diligence questionnaires (“DDQs”), requests for information (“RFIs”), and investor and consultant inquiries.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and other research and prepare materials and reports to support capital raising efforts and fund management teams.
  • Effectively communicate specific details about Hines’ past, current and prospective investment vehicles.
  • Create critical documents and other communications, ensuring appropriate messaging for meetings with prospective and current investors.
  • Responsibilities may also include responding to industry surveys, updating consultant profiles and databases, and data room management.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of related experience, particularly within institutional real estate, in investment management, investor relations, research, financial analysis, or consulting role.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and relationship building skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret various types of data from a strategic point of view in order to draw conclusions and solve problems.
  • Perform numerical and financial calculations and analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline.
  • Understanding of basic real estate terms and concepts, as well as institutional investment vehicles, preferred.
  • Compensation: $100,000 - $133,600; Salary will depend on level of experience and title.
