Job summary

Fibertek, Inc. is seeking a Senior Master Scheduler to support our Ft. Belvoir team. The role develops and maintains IMS and Tier-0 schedules, aligning with program milestones and leadership priorities.

You will collaborate with APM, review contractor schedules, manage CDRL deliverables, and publish updates to Project Online. A Secret clearance and 5+ years in IMS scheduling are required. Fibertek offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and refine integrated master schedules through fielding.
• Update Tier-0 and project schedules weekly with the APM and stakeholders; perform monthly Microsoft Project updates to milestones and future events.
• Identify critical-path impacts and risks; highlight activities and schedule flexibility for leadership review.
• Perform schedule variance analysis and communicate performance trends, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
• Continuously review schedule logic, resolve missing dependencies, and monitor start/finish dates for integrity.
• Publish updated schedules to Project Online and support IPT reports for stakeholder review and analysis.
• Update Tier-0 charts for program briefings and Power BI closeout reporting.
• Track CDRL deliverables and review prime contractor IMS submissions for data accuracy.
• Analyze prime contractor schedules and record cost and schedule performance.
• Collaborate with the Chief Engineer on automated scheduling and reporting to improve IMS visibility.

Job Description

Fibertek is seeking a Master Scheduler to support our team at Ft. Belvoir. The Master Scheduler develops, maintains, and analyzes integrated master schedules (IMS) and Tier-0 schedules supporting CPE CS programs. The position coordinates schedule updates, evaluates critical-path impacts and performance, reviews contractor schedules and deliverables, and prepares reports that help leadership manage program milestones and risks through fielding.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Develop, maintain, and refine integrated master schedules covering the program life cycle through fielding, aligning schedules with leadership priorities and program milestones.
• Update Tier-0 and project schedules weekly with the APM and internal stakeholders; perform monthly Microsoft Project updates to milestones and future events.
• Identify critical-path impacts and schedule risks biweekly and whenever significant slippage occurs. Highlight critical activities and available schedule flexibility in Tier-0 schedules for leadership review.
• Perform schedule variance analysis by comparing planned and actual progress; communicate performance trends, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
• Continuously review schedule logic, identify and resolve missing dependencies, and monitor early start and finish dates to improve schedule integrity.
• Publish updated schedules to Project Online and support CPE CS IMS Integrated Product Team (IPT) reports for stakeholder review and analysis.
• Update Tier-0 charts in Milestones Professional for program briefings and CPE CS quad charts; support Power BI closeout reporting.
• Track vendor Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables and maintain completion status. Review prime contractor IMS submissions for CDRL compliance and data accuracy
• Analyze prime contractor schedules and record cost and schedule performance in the applicable program CDRL tracking database.
• Collaborate with the Chief Engineer on automated scheduling and reporting capabilities that improve IMS visibility and Tier-0 reporting.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Project Online for schedule development, maintenance, and publication.
• Ability to use Milestones Professional and Power BI to communicate program status and support reporting.
• Strong knowledge of critical-path analysis, schedule logic, dependencies, milestone tracking, and planned-versus-actual variance analysis.
• Ability to review contractor schedules, assess CDRL compliance, maintain accurate tracking records, and explain schedule risks clearly.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate updates across technical teams, contractors, and leadership.
• Secret security clearance required.
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining integrated master schedules, analyzing program schedule performance, reviewing contractor schedules, and preparing leadership reports. Experience coordinating schedule inputs and tracking CDRL deliverables is required.
• 5+ years relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree

SALARY RANGE

The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000-$160,000. This range reflects the compensation Fibertek reasonably expects to offer for this role. Placement within the range will depend on factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s experience, education and training, key skills, and relevant market and business considerations.
