Job Summary

The Retail Operations Analyst plays a critical role in advancing operational excellence across Carhartt Retail Stores by developing strategies that meet both consumer and associate expectations. This role drives continuous improvement in core processes, communication, and associate engagement, while fostering strong partnerships with store teams and internal stakeholders. As a key connector between corporate and retail, the analyst leads and prioritizes communication initiatives, ensuring alignment, clarity, and execution from strategy through completion.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage all internal communications, store tasks, and announcements to ensure clarity, consistency, and timely execution.
  • Analyze and refine store processes to improve effectiveness across inventory, freight flow, and day-to-day operations.
  • Create and maintain training content that supports store teams and aligns with operational goals.
  • Partner with Digital Ops and vendors to resolve tech issues, enhance tools, and represent the associate and consumer experience.
  • Lead initiatives that optimize inventory management and freight-to-floor execution across stores.
  • Own the planning and coordination of operational calendars to align store activities with corporate priorities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and corporate partners to ensure seamless execution of retail strategies and initiatives.
  • Analyze consumer input to identify trends and inform operational improvements.
  • Deliver weekly and monthly performance summaries to highlight results and guide decision-making.
Required Education

Associate degree or equivalent years of related experience

Required Skills & Experience
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in retail operations, with a proven track record of driving process improvements and supporting store teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to build operational strategies and lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring measurable impact and cross-functional alignment.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Project, Outlook, PowerPoint) and familiarity with retail POS systems, software, and hardware.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage responsibilities, troubleshoot issues, and make decisions with minimal oversight.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization, including store teams and senior leadership.
  • Outstanding prioritization and time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Physical Requirements And Working Conditions
  • Extended periods of time walking, standing, sitting and typing on a computer is required.
  • Moderate lifting may be required 40 LBS.
  • Willing to work some weekends if necessary.
  • Domestic travel required (up to 20%)
  • This position has a Remote location: Associate will have no regular requirement to be on-site. Travel on-site is limited to special events.
