Job DescriptionJob SummaryMolina's Quality Improvement function oversees, plans, and implements healthcare quality initiatives and education programs; ensures maintenance of programs for members in accordance with quality standards; conducts data collection, reporting, and monitoring for key performance activities; and manages NCQA accreditation surveys and QI compliance activities.
Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesThe Analyst, Quality Improvement (QI) Interventions/Compliance contributes to Clinical Quality Interventions and QI Compliance. Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with Quality Improvement staff to analyze and report on quality improvement studies and initiatives to monitor and improve healthcare services.
- Evaluating quality improvement data for regulatory and accreditation compliance.
- Preparing and presenting reports and analyses using various data sources.
- Producing graphical reports on QI projects and ensuring timely delivery.
- Performing qualitative and quantitative analyses to identify concerns and develop improvement plans.
- Participating in NCQA accreditation and regulatory audit activities.
- Supporting other activities like analyzing quality of care issues, credentialing files, and performance metrics such as HEDIS and STARS.
Job QualificationsRequired EducationBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Required Experience- Min. 3 years healthcare experience, with 1 year in health plan quality improvement or managed care.
- Strong business writing skills.
- Operational knowledge of Excel and Visio.
Preferred EducationMaster's Degree or higher in a clinical or healthcare field.
Preferred Experience- 1 year experience in Medicare and Medicaid.
- HEDIS reporting experience.
- Experience developing or analyzing performance measures.
Preferred CertificationsCPHQ, Nursing License (RN), CHCA.

Pay Range: $68,640 - $111,967 annually.
