Job summary

Universal Leaf North America (ULNA) in Nashville, NC, is seeking an Analyst Programmer to supervise and administer applications and system development activities, ensuring integrity through key controls.

You will collaborate on analysis, design, testing, and deployment of software, supporting a production environment and journeying with the IT department to meet objectives. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred, with strong communication and teamwork expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Effective analytical, planning and organizing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel.
• Adapt to frequent changes in climate, environment, workload and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on analysis and design of application software including new programs, enhancements and troubleshooting.
• Implement and test programs in various codes/languages.
• Test and troubleshoot new programs and changes before production.
• Assist in creating documentation and training users.
• Support IT by monitoring and responding to calls from the user community.
• Test applications when new versions of system tools, compilers, libraries and toolkits are introduced.
• Partner with management to accomplish objectives.
• Record keeping as required.
• Other duties may be assigned.
