Analyst Program Assoc (Critical Incidents Analyst) - Remote in Indiana

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze reports to determine if instances meet the threshold for a critical incident
- Conduct full investigations and ensure completion within thirty (30) days
- Assess and manage immediate potential threats to member health, safety, and welfare
- Document findings according to industry-standard guidelines and maintain necessary databases
- Interface with internal clinical staff and external providers to gather information related to critical incidents

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2+ years in a healthcare-related field
- 2+ years of full-time direct service experience with older adults or persons with disabilities
- 2+ years of experience working in a healthcare or managed care environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment with tight deadlines

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- RN, LPN, BSW, or MSW within the state of Indiana
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare business analysis, including data trending and quality improvement
- Experience with Adult Protective Services, Justice System, or Long-Term Care Ombudsman
- Solid experience in tracking and trending critical incident data
- Knowledge of quality improvement methods and tools (SPC, Six Sigma)
