Job summary

UF Health is seeking a skilled professional to lead the Automated Supply Station Program. This role reports to the Manager, Supply Operations and collaborates with responsible managers across UF Health to plan, implement, and monitor program metrics, budgeting, training, and upgrades.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, deep knowledge of inventory control and financial analysis, and hands-on experience with the Supply Chain Services System and

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills necessary for coordinating effective change among staff and clinicians.
  • Hands-on experience with Supply Chain Services System and the Automated Supply Station software.
  • Proficient in Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and writing.
  • Clear understanding of systems functionality and/or departmental processes as they relate to the supported system/application.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills are required for interpreting and distributing documentation related to systems/application functionality, upgrades and enhancements.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member in a solution oriented and customer focused environment.

Job description

Overview

This position reports directly to the Manager, Supply Operations. Collaborates and works with all responsible managers within UF Health to ensure successful program execution. This position is responsible for the overall planning and execution of the Automated Supply Station Program within UF Health. This will include the metrics, budgeting, training, monitoring and successful implementation of all Automated Supply Stations. Employee must have a clear understanding of systems functionality and/or departmental processes as they relate to the supported system/application. Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills are required for interpreting and distributing documentation related to systems/application functionality, upgrades and enhancements. Must be able to work both independently and as a team member in a solution-oriented and customer-focused environment.

Qualifications
  • Required Education:Associate's degree. Four (4) years of relevent experience will be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Preferred Education:Bachelor's Degree.
  • Necessary Skills:Requires excellent leadership and program management skills, highly knowledgeable in financial analysis and inventory control principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills necessary for coordinating effective change among staff and clinicians. Hands-on experience with Supply Chain Services System and the Automated Supply Station software. Proficient in Word and Excel. Excellent communication skills both verbal and writing. Ability to work with and interface with other managers. Ability to be an effective problem solver as issues present. Excellent interpersonal skills.Clear understanding of systems functionality and/or departmental processes as they relate to the supported system/application. Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills are required for interpreting and distributing documentation related to systems/application functionality, upgrades and enhancements. Ability to work both independently and as a team member in a solution oriented and customer focused environment.
  • Required Experience:3-5 years - Automated Systems and Inventory Management
  • Preferred Experience:At least one (1) year of office experience and/or healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Budgetary Responsibility:Responsible for annual budget of $1,000,000.00.
