Job summary

Ares Management is seeking a Product Marketing Analyst to support AWMS marketing efforts across private markets. You will work closely with Legal & Compliance, Channel Marketing, Private Wealth Partnerships, and Digital Marketing to ensure materials are accurate, aligned, and effective.

Ideal candidates will build product marketing skills, gain exposure to a broad range of funds, and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Finance, Business, Communications, Economics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of marketing initiatives for alternative investment products, including collateral updates and campaigns.

Position Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop expertise in private markets while gaining broad exposure to AWMS's flagship investment strategies. The Product Marketing Analyst will support the maintenance, enhancement, and distribution of key marketing materials, partnering closely with seasoned Product Marketing team members, Legal & Compliance, Private Wealth Partnerships, Channel Marketing, and Digital Marketing to ensure materials are accurate, aligned, and effective.

Essential Duties

• Support the planning and execution of marketing initiatives for alternative investment products, including project coordination, collateral updates, email campaigns, webinars, presentations, and other marketing materials.
• Coordinate quarterly performance and portfolio data updates across a broad suite of product marketing collateral.
• Partner with Channel Marketing to support the development and distribution of product marketing campaigns through partner firm channels.
• Collaborate with the Private Wealth Partnerships team to facilitate the submission of product collateral to partner firms for review and approval.
• Assist in managing the legal and compliance review process for marketing materials, helping to track feedback, coordinate revisions, and ensure timely approvals.
• Conduct competitive and industry research to deepen product knowledge and support marketing initiatives.
• Support ongoing marketing projects and ad hoc initiatives across the product marketing team.
• Partner with the Digital Marketing team to review campaign performance and identify opportunities for optimization and future engagement.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of marketing materials that support product growth and sales objectives.

Required Skills

• Relevant internship, academic, or professional experience, or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Business, Communications, Economics, or a related field
• Interest in investment products, financial markets, and alternative investments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong project coordination and time management abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn new products, processes, and industry trends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with marketing technology platforms and project management tools is a plus.

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.

$60,000 - $85,000
