Job description

Eagle Crest was established with the primary objective of offering specialized life insurance solutions, ensuring that clients take full advantage of unique opportunities and achieve and exceed their financial goals.

With roots in Canada and deep experience across both sides of the border, we specialize in life insurance solutions that work for clients whose lives, businesses, and families don't fit neatly into one country — or one strategy.

We're a broker, which means we work for you, not an insurance company. Our job is to find the right structure, the right carrier, and the right fit for your situation.

Summary

We are recruiting for a Analyst - Principal Investments to join the team. In this role, you will work directly with the principal investments team on investment activities, including evaluating potential opportunities, executing transactions, and supporting portfolio companies. You will work closely with the founding partners, advisory team, C-suite executives, and board members of portfolio companies and potential investments.

This position will provide a dynamic opportunity for an individual seeking meaningful responsibility across a broad range of industries and investment activities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop strong investment, financial modelling, and transaction execution skills while working alongside an experienced team.

Role Overview

Your role will include:

  • Researching potential investment opportunities, including target companies, sectors, industries, and geographies
  • Evaluating investment opportunities and supporting the execution of principal investments
  • Developing financial models with varying levels of complexity for investment transactions
  • Supporting due diligence processes, including coordinating with third-party advisors

  • Managing and consolidating asset-level reporting for portfolio investments
  • Preparing investment materials, presentations, and analysis to support decision-making
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support investment activities

As a member of a high-performing team working in a fast-paced environment, you will be expected to take ownership of your work, manage competing priorities, and work beyond a normal workday or workweek when required to fulfill your responsibilities.
