    Description

    The Auto or Property & Specialty Team and Auto or Property & Specialty Pricing Programs are looking for an Analyst/Sr Analyst to be a key contributor to GRM US profit and growth goals and help shape current and future pricing programs. You will be responsible for determining product scope, ensuring this scope is in compliance with state regulations, providing technical and analytical support of assigned states and projects with proactive and continuous communication to project stakeholders.

    *Please note this is a grade 13-15 range posting (G13 - Analyst, G15 - Sr Analyst) and level will be determined by the Hiring Manager based on experience.

    In this role you will:

    • Fully own and execute on assigned state’s implementation of the latest Auto or Property & Specialty Team and Auto or Property & Specialty Pricing Programs.
    • As subject matter expert for assigned states, serves as the point person to complete state implementations for basic states with minimal supervision or complex states with moderate supervision.
    • Queries data to conduct ad hoc analysis of metrics, and manipulates and understands the data to tell a story and answer question at hand.
    • Provides thoughtful recommendations to key stakeholders (namely Director of State Operations and State Team) on pricing, strategy, filing etc.
    • Provides analysis to help support business decisions; where necessary, conducts in depth research of competitor offerings and filings.
    • Provides recommendations to training and processes to manager/mentor, with an eye to continued process improvement. May begin creating and updating training materials.
    • Takes an active role in onboarding and asking questions to gain complete understanding of the rollout process.

    We are looking for a candidate who has:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or other quantitative field.
    • Minimum 2 years, typically 3 years or more of relevant experience.
    • If applicable, completion of product development program.
    • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis software (e.g., SAS, Access).
    • Must have proficient planning, organizational, analytical, decision making and communication skills.

    Additional responsibilities may include:

    • Conducts moderate complexity analysis under minimal supervision.
    • Sets up and runs simple loss and demand models with substantial support from experienced analysts.
    • Contributes to the underlying analysis on projects important to the SBU.
    • Queries data to conduct ad hoc analysis of metrics.
    • Provides recommendations on the appropriate tools and techniques to perform analysis.
    • Serves as team member on medium-term or moderate complexity projects.
    • May occasionally lead own workstream.
    • Pulls data on competitor actions through available sources.
    • Serves as ad hoc resource for less experienced analysts.
    • May, under supervision, conduct analysis to evaluate and implement vendor products.
