Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on portfolio holdings and monitor news, market developments, and events influencing decisions
  • Manage customized client portfolios per established objectives and strategies
  • Research and develop tailored investment solutions for high-net-worth and institutional clients
  • Implement investment decisions with the broader portfolio team; ensure trades are accurate and efficient
  • Monitor account positions and allocations daily; address discrepancies affecting objectives
  • Generate and execute account-level trades, including new accounts and liquidations
  • Rebalance portfolios in response to contributions, withdrawals, and activity
  • Execute transactions across asset classes with emphasis on options and equities
  • Follow advisor-directed trading activity; maintain timely and accurate execution

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Analyst, Options based in United States.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative investment team in a role that blends portfolio analysis, options trading, and day-to-day account management.

You will help implement customized investment strategies for high-net-worth and institutional clients while supporting broader portfolio objectives.

The role combines analytical research with hands‑on trade execution across options, equities, and other asset classes.

You will monitor client accounts closely, respond to portfolio activity, and ensure allocations remain aligned with investment goals.

Working alongside advisors and portfolio professionals, you will translate market insights into timely investment actions and recommendations.

You will also contribute to improving trading processes, execution quality, and operational efficiency.

This role is well suited to an analytical, motivated professional seeking meaningful exposure to portfolio management and options investing.

Accountabilities
  • Conduct research on portfolio holdings and monitor stock‑specific news, market developments, and other events that may influence investment decisions.
  • Manage customized client portfolios in accordance with established investment objectives and portfolio strategies.
  • Research and develop tailored investment solutions for high‑net‑worth individuals and institutional clients.
  • Implement investment decisions as part of the broader portfolio team and ensure trades are executed accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor account positions and allocations daily, identifying and addressing discrepancies or changes that may affect client objectives.
  • Generate and execute account‑level trades, including investing new accounts and liquidating accounts when required.
  • Rebalance portfolios in response to client contributions, withdrawals, and other account activity.
  • Execute transactions across multiple asset classes, with a particular focus on options and equities.
  • Follow advisor‑directed trading activity throughout the day while maintaining timely and accurate execution.
  • Continuously assess and improve trading procedures, workflows, and processes to enhance efficiency and execution quality.
  • Communicate investment solutions, recommendations, and account analysis clearly to advisors, providing the rationale behind portfolio management decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a graduate degree and/or CFA or another relevant professional designation is preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in investments, financial analysis, portfolio management, trading, or a related field.
  • General understanding of common options trading strategies and their application within investment portfolios.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong ability to work with financial data and analytical models.
  • Experience with Bloomberg, Orion, Moxy, or other order and trade management platforms is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a careful and detail‑oriented approach to investment and trading activities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain investment analysis and recommendations to advisors and internal stakeholders.
