Job summary

ICE Futures U.S., Inc., a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, invites an Analyst to join its Market Regulation team in New York. You will investigate trading activity in derivatives markets to detect potential violations of Exchange rules and CFTC regulations, and provide guidance to market participants.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Math or JD, strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills, and familiarity with futures markets; experience

Responsibilities

• Develop substantive knowledge of Exchange’s rules and CFTC regulations.
• Stay informed on relevant Federal regulations, policy and developments.
• Develop knowledge of commodity markets, particularly related to energy, financial & agricultural markets.
• Monitor the relation between cash commodity fundamentals and the futures market, particularly in energy and agricultural markets.
• Work with large, complex data sets.
• Research data from a variety of real time and post trade systems to identify abnormalities or potential rule violations.
• Document detailed analyses of trading activity.
• Conduct investigations of potential rule violations by obtaining testimony, compiling records and drafting investigative reports for presentation to disciplinary committees.
• Build relationships with market participants and provide guidance on Exchange rules.
• Improve common processes to find efficiencies.
• Collaborate with others on technology and systems to enhance operational processes.

New York Base Salary Range The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $70,000 - 90,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances. Illinois Base Salary Range The expected base salary for this role, if located in Illinois, is between $60,000 - 80,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
