Qualifications

Job description

Under limited supervision, this project-based position will support all Land related disciplines by executing solutions for backlog cleanup and providing procedural recommendations to ensure quality controls upon project completion.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze leases, contracts, title opinions, operating agreements, and legal documents to calculate royalty owner divisions of interest for payment purposes and billable shares of burdens for working interest owners.
  2. Research and resolve complex quality control reports, decimal discrepancies, and title issues, including title curative.
  3. Calculate and verify company leasehold acreage.
  4. Collaborate with Division Orders, Lease Records, Land, Business Development, Legal, and Accounting departments to ensure alignment and compliance.
  5. Assist with acquisitions, divestitures, due diligence, audits, data conversions, and other special projects.
  6. Research and analyze multiple data sources to find specific information as needed.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience as Oil & Gas Title Landman, Lease Analyst, Division Order, or related roles.
  • At least 5+ years of demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Basic knowledge of E&P operational workflows with the ability to apply this knowledge to daily responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SAP, Quorum, and On Demand Land.
  • Experience working within the Midland and Delaware basins.
