Primary Function

The primary function is to accurately audit; home sale files according to contractual agreements, Equity requests including Mortgage payoffs and advances, while remaining compliant and timely for all transactions for US and Canada disbursements. Accurately audit, process and record G&A and T&E expense requests from our Regional business units in Brazil, EMEA, and Americas Cartus businesses. Audit and make timely payments for Electronic/Check A/P Disbursement requests from our internal Billing, A/R and Collections, and Corporate F&A departments.

Major Duties And Responsibilities

  • Audits Equity requests to ensure timeliness and financial accuracy prior to disbursement of funds
  • Audits Homesale files to ensure accuracy and settle lock file.
  • Audits G&A / T&E / AP Disbursements and disburses in Oracle
  • Ensures compliance with all client and Cartus internal control procedures for US and Canada
  • Prepares financial entries to correct audit issues identified in the Homesale Audit
  • Identifies process efficiencies within the Homesale/Equity and G&A Audit Process
  • Audits and Locks customer and third party payables/receivables
  • Audits and resolves equity adjustment requests
  • Identify and resolve problems, trends and patterns providing recommendation of appropriate action to resolve discrepancies.
  • Meet or Exceed established Productivity Metrics
  • Meet or Exceed established Accuracy metrics
  • Utilize Communication skills to effect change and resolve issues on team, and throughout Cartus
  • Collaborate internally on team and between various departments including; A/P, Treasury, Closing Network, ORC, Client Billing, Corp Actg.
  • Participate in special projects as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years related business experience or Associates Degree in Accounting preferred
  • Proven auditing, problem solving and researching abilities required
  • Motivated and a self-starter required
  • Ability to partner effectively with other teams
  • Proficiency in MS Office and usage of Multiple Applications daily
