Job Description And Duties

Patton State Hospital, Human Resources Department, is accepting applications for at least one (1) Limited Term, Full-Time Analyst II – Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment System (CASAS) Coordinator position within the Enhancement Services Department. The incumbent works under the general direction of the Program Assistant of Education and Vocation. Limited term positions may be extended up to 24 months with the possibility of becoming Permanent. A Training and Development opportunity may also be considered.

Analyst II serves as the CASAS Coordinator for Enhancement Services and performs a variety of analytical and consultative duties in support of Education/Vocational Services. Responsibilities include researching and analyzing program operations; interpreting and applying applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and requirements; evaluating treatment program processes and recommending improvements; and advising management on program alternatives and operational impacts. The incumbent coordinates CASAS testing and training, maintains and analyzes student and patient data, prepares required monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports, and ensures data integrity and compliance with state and federal reporting requirements. The incumbent also analyzes patient performance trends related to Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Title II (WIOA II) grant requirements and uses independent judgement to support effective program operations and outcomes.

Enhancement Services is seeking a candidate who demonstrates a high degree of professionalism, initiative, and independence while working effectively in a dynamic hospital environment. The ideal candidate will communicate in a courteous, professional, and effective manner staff and management across departments; exercise tact and sound judgment; maintain confidentiality; and effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities. The successful candidate will be dependable, organized, and adaptable, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time-sensitive assignments accurately and efficiently. The candidate should demonstrate a collaborative and patient-centered approach, maintain awareness of safety and security practices, and possess the ability to learn and effectively utilize new technological database systems, including TOPSpro Enterprise and Wellness and Recovery Model Support System (WaRMMS).
