Job summary

WM is seeking a Product Analyst I to support Business, Product, Digital, and Project teams in delivering product enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives. Under supervision, you will assist with discovery, requirements gathering, backlog support, stakeholder engagement, documentation, testing coordination, and process improvement.

You will work with Product Owners, Project Managers, and Digital teams to build foundational product analysis skills while contributing to product delivery

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Project Management, Engineering, or related field, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED with four years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in business analysis or product analysis is not required for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with product intake, discovery discussions, and documenting business needs.
  • Document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support backlog refinement and maintain documentation in work management tools.

Job description

I. Job Summary

Under supervision, the Product Analyst I supports Business, Product, Digital, and Project teams in delivering product enhancements, continuous improvement initiatives, and strategic business objectives. The role assists with product and business analysis activities including discovery, requirements gathering, backlog support, stakeholder engagement, documentation, testing coordination, and process improvement. The Product Analyst I works closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, business stakeholders, and Digital teams to develop foundational product and business analysis skills while contributing to product delivery and continuous improvement efforts across the Product organization.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Product Intake and Discovery
  • Support intake discussions and discovery activities with business stakeholders.
  • Assist in documenting business needs, opportunities, pain points, desired outcomes, and success metrics
  • Assist with gathering information needed to evaluate proposed enhancements and initiatives.
  • Support coordination activities with business, product, digital, and finance partners
Requirements, Backlog, and Product Support
  • Assist with stakeholder interviews, discovery sessions, and requirements workshops.
  • Document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting artifacts.
  • Support backlog refinement activities and maintain documentation in approved work management tools.
  • Assist with requirements reviews and stakeholder feedback sessions.
  • Support backlog maintenance activities and identification of incomplete or aging work items.
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, coordination, documentation, and business
Delivery and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner with Product Owners, Project Managers, Digital teams, and business stakeholders to support project and product delivery activities.
  • Assist with communication between business stakeholders and Digital teams. Support issue resolution activities by gathering information, documenting concerns, and tracking follow-up actions.
  • Participate in meetings and document key decisions, actions, and outcomes.
  • Maintain documentation repositories and ensure project and product artifacts remain current.
Continuous Improvement and Product Enablement
  • Support development and maintenance of templates, standards, and best practices.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancement efforts.
  • Support product planning, prioritization, and roadmap activities as assigned.
  • Promote adoption of Product Team standards and ways of working.
III. Qualifications
A. Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Project Management, Engineering, or related field, or in lieu of degree,
  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four years of relevant experience
  • No experience in Business Analysis, Product Analysis, Process Improvement, Project Delivery, or related field.
B. Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS
  • 2 years in Business Analysis, Product Analysis, Process Improvement, Project Delivery, or related field.

The expected base pay range for this on-site position is $ - $ . This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.

In addition, this position is eligible for bonus.
