Position Summary: Under regular direction, the Analyst I EPIC EHR Application provides build support for Epic & other Clinical applications related to change requests, maintenance, and project demands. Responsible for configuring, documenting, testing, modifying, supporting, and maintaining software applications. Builds collaborative relationships with hospital leadership, clinical departments, Technology, and other corporate units to facilitate system usage and acceptance. Provides solutions or resolves end-user system issues.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Assists in designing, verifying, documenting, amending, and refactoring moderately complex software configurations for deployment, applying standards and tools to ensure quality, and collaborating on reviews.
2. Helps investigate and resolve application issues, following procedures to identify and resolve problems, using management software to collect performance data, and performing maintenance tasks.
3. Supports the design of test cases and scripts, maps to pre-determined criteria, records, and reports outcomes, applying standards for manual and automated testing.
4. Assists in evaluating design options and prototypes, obtaining user feedback, and checking systems for adherence to standards, guidelines, and legislation.
5. Provides first-line investigation and information gathering to resolve incidents and allocate resources.
6. May participate in after-hours on-call rotations.
