Job summary

Kobre & Kim in the United States seeks Analyst I to support complex international civil and criminal matters. You’ll work on cross-border disputes, conduct factual and financial analysis, and assist attorneys on hearings, trials, and client meetings.

Your Impact

Our Analysts are an elite cohort of early-career individuals who gain substantive, hands-on experience supporting complex international civil and criminal financial litigation. As members of case teams, Analysts work alongside attorneys and business professionals, with exposure to client matters, pro bono work, knowledge management and global business development. The work is varied and fast-paced, with responsibilities adapting to the needs of each matter.

We are seeking intellectually curious graduates with strong research, writing, analytical and problem-solving skills. An interest in law, disputes, investigations or financial markets is a plus, but a legal background is not required.

As Analysts progress, they develop highly desirable transferable skills in research and problem-solving, financial and quantitative analysis, project and matter management, and written and verbal communication. These skills open doors across a wide range of careers and industries. Analysts join the firm as Analyst I and, after their first year, may pursue opportunities, including advancement to Analyst II, leadership roles, specialization in practice areas, and potential transfers to other departments or offices worldwide. Additional Information

• U.S. locations only: At the time of posting, the base salary for this role is US $80,000 (minimum) - US $80,000 (maximum), based on a full-time work schedule. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary bonus.
• While we try to accommodate office location preferences, final placement depends on available openings and firm business needs. Office transfer requests are considered after one year of employment.
• Each office follows either a fully in-office or hybrid schedule based on jurisdiction. For example, our U.S. offices require employees be present at least 3 out of 5 business days per week. Office attendance requirements are set by firm leadership and/or client business needs.
