Job description

In an increasingly complex world where people are starving for someone they can trust, we stand for something simple: always put the client first. We do well by doing good for those we serve. It’s the ultimate measure. We believe in providing value beyond a doubt and in the notion that time will either expose you or promote you, based on your willingness to embrace change.

We serve financial advisors and investors through three entities, each headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska: Carson Wealth, Carson Coaching and Carson Partners. We provide coaching and partnership services to advisor firms – and straightforward financial advice to the investing public. We all share a common mission to be the most trusted in financial advice.

Who We Want

Provide support across HR, benefits, and leave administration. Maintain data integrity within HR systems and support accurate communication and data transmission among internal partners, benefits carriers, and external vendors. Review and validate benefits-related payroll items, reconcile system and carrier data, and assist with HRIS configuration and testing. Maintain compliant documentation and improve operational processes to promote accurate, efficient, and responsive HR services.

What To Expect

  • Benefits Administration: Support day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs. Respond to employee questions, process enrollments and qualifying life events, coordinate with carriers and vendors, and resolve eligibility, coverage, and billing discrepancies. Assist with annual open enrollment, including system configuration and testing, employee communications, carrier changes, enrollment processing, and post-enrollment audits.
  • Leave Administration: Administer employee leave programs in coordination with employees, managers, payroll, and external partners. Review documentation, track leave status, coordinate pay and benefits, maintain accurate records, communicate requirements and next steps, and support return-to-work activities. Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state leave requirements and internal policies.
  • HRIS, Reporting, and Reconciliation: Support ongoing HRIS configuration and testing related to benefits, payroll, leave, and employee data changes. Generate reports and assist with system reconciliations among the HRIS, carriers, vendors, and payroll. Coordinate the accurate and timely transmission of eligibility and enrollment data and research discrepancies through resolution.
  • Process Optimization and Compliance: Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements across HR, benefits, and leave operations. Support compliance with internal policies and applicable federal and state regulations, including ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, FMLA, and state leave requirements. Maintain documentation for audits, required reporting, and process reference.
  • Stakeholder Service and Collaboration: Serve as a point of contact for HR, benefits, and leave inquiries, providing timely and accurate support. Collaborate with internal partners and external vendors to promote consistency and accuracy across people-related processes.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities as needed or assigned by leadership to support departmental and organizational objectives.
