Job summary

Hard Rock Digital is seeking an Analyst for its Payments & Fraud team to protect customers and the business in the i-gaming space. You will validate documents, review financial histories, and verify account ownership in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong investigative, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with knowledge of gaming regulations and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Hybrid scheduling may be available.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Banking, payments, fraud, disputes, or iGaming industries (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Location Compliance, Multi-Accounting and Financial Crime is preferred.
  • Good investigation skills, sound judgement and the ability to review and interpret data and activity to make sound decisions.
  • Knowledge of gambling and sports betting and how customers engage with those products is an advantage.
  • Analytical skill set, with the ability to communicate.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the rules and regulations of the gaming industry.
  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and triaging complicated matters related to customer inquiries.
  • Candidates must be computer literate with experience in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Validate and verify customer documentation when further verification is necessary, and verify account ownership.
  • Review customers’ financial transaction history, including bank and credit card statements.
  • Validate fraud alerts generated by prevention tools and systems.
  • Perform in-depth analysis and prepare investigative summaries to support fraud scenarios.
  • Create and manage internal controls and generate incident reports.

What’s the position?

We are looking for a well-rounded individual with experience in ecommerce payments to roll up their sleeves and join us as one of our Analysts. This role will report into the Payments & Fraud team and be responsible for protecting both the customer as well as the business by providing professional, accurate, and realistic expectations for all matters related to the potential fraud side of the i-gaming space.

  • Analyst will be responsible for validating and verifying customer documentation when further verification is necessary. As well as verification of account ownership.
  • Reviewing customers’ financial transaction history. Including but not limited to, financial records, bank statements, and credit card statements.
  • Validating fraud alerts that are generated by our fraud prevention tools and systems.
  • Perform in-depth analysis and prepare comprehensive investigative summaries to support and prove scenarios of fraud.
  • Create and manage internal controls and generate incident reports.

  • Previous work experience in Banking, payments, fraud, disputes, or iGaming industries (preferred).
