Job summary

Socket.dev seeks an Analyst, Forecasting, Planning & Analytics to develop accurate demand forecasts and manage retail replenishment. You will analyze data, collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to optimize inventory and forecast accuracy.

The role focuses on data-driven insights, KPI dashboards, and cross-functional projects to improve supply chain efficiency and inventory availability for customer demand.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in SCM, Analytics, or related field.
  • Experience forecasting, replenishment planning, or supply-chain analytics.
  • Advanced Excel with strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI or similar BI tools preferred.
  • Experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods environment and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration across Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve demand forecasts from historical data and trends.
  • Own retail replenishment planning to ensure optimal inventory and service levels.
  • Manage replenishment strategies and planning system parameters.
  • Recommend procurement, packaging, and repacking quantities as needed.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to align demand plans with objectives.
  • Monitor inventory across locations to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Build dashboards and reports to track KPIs and inventory health.
  • Analyze forecast accuracy and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Support cross-functional projects to improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting for strategic initiatives.

Analyst, Forecasting, Planning & Analytics

Location:300 Park Avenue, Warminster, PA
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (100% Onsite)

About the Role

We're looking for a highly analytical and collaborative Analyst, Forecasting, Planning & Analytics to join our Forecasting & Planning team. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, managing retail replenishment, and delivering data-driven insights that support key business decisions.

You'll work closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to optimize inventory, improve forecast accuracy, and ensure products are available to meet customer demand. What You'll Do
  • Develop, maintain, and improve demand forecasts using historical data, trends, and business insights.

  • Monitor inventory across manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution locations to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs), inventory health, and operational performance.
  • Analyze forecast accuracy and recommend continuous process improvements.
  • Support cross-functional projects focused on improving supply chain efficiency and inventory optimization.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to support strategic business initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Analytics, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in demand forecasting, replenishment planning, supply chain analytics, or a related analytical role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, or other business intelligence and data visualization tools preferred.
  • Experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment and familiarity with ERP, MRP, or supply chain planning systems preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams
