The Finance team works with senior executives at the firm to develop budgets, projections, evaluate new investment opportunities, and analyze and report on financial performance for both internal and external stakeholders, including the firm’s private equity owners.
The Finance team is seeking an Analyst to join the team. The Analyst will be a key member of the Financial Planning & Analysis team, reporting directly to the manager of FP&A. This role will also include direct interaction with senior members of the company’s management team such as the CFO and leaders of the business units.
This opportunity is based in our Washington, D.C. office.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support the annual budgeting process by modeling and analyzing proposed financial goals at the firm and department level.
- Support the development and maintenance of an infrastructure that facilitates rapid reporting and analysis of key metrics driving financial and operational performance.
- Create and maintain department dashboards analyzing performance against key business metrics, including cost, revenue, and margin targets.
- Manage key components of the firm’s financial projections to ensure target accuracy, including:
- Work with business leaders to monitor performance against forecast.
- Work with the accounting team to develop soft close/quarter‑end financial projections.
- Analyze specific financial and operational issues during the year, including ad‑hoc analysis, modeling, and forecasting.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or another related field.
- Minimum 1 + years of professional experience.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Experience with budgeting software.
- Proven time‑management skills; ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
- Strong analytical skills using quantitative tools to assemble, analyze, and draw conclusions from business data.
- Discretion in handling sensitive performance information.

Compensation
The anticipated starting salary range for this role is $55,000 – $60,000 per year. Actual salary varies based on experience, skills, and location. The hire will also be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on individual and organizational performance.
