Job summary

Publicis Groupe is seeking a Finance/Accounting professional to support forecasting, budgeting and management reporting across the Chicago office in a hybrid role. You will analyze financial results, prepare variance commentary, and maintain accuracy in financial systems such as Hyperion, HFM and Anaplan.

The ideal candidate has a Finance or Accounting degree, strong Excel skills, and solid communication and organizational abilities. Prior internship or 1+ year of experience is valued.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Chicago office hybrid schedule (4x/wk).
• Internship or 1+ year work experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting and budgeting support for business units and finance directors.
• Analyze monthly/annual financial results and provide variance commentary.
• Ensure accuracy of information in Hyperion/HFM and Anaplan.

Responsibilities

ForecastingandBudgeting

• SupportbusinessunitFinanceDirectorsincreatingregularfinancialforecastsinlinewithPublicisGroupeschedule
• Analyzemonthlyandannualfinancialresults,providingcommentaryonvariancestoforecast
• EnsureaccuracyofinformationinGroupefinancialsoftware(HyperionFinancialMgmt–HFM&Anaplan)
• Developexpertiseinfinancialsoftwaretoregularlyupdatedataanddistributefinancialreports
• ShareinformationtosupportstrategicplanningacrossFinanceandotherdepartments

General&Administrative(G&A)costs

• ProvidesmonthlyreportingofG&Acoststobudgetholdersacrossdifferentdepartments.
• Worksacrossagencytogetcostscodedtoproperaccountandbudget.
• Analyzeactualcoststobudgetandunderstandvariancesandkeydrivers.

ManagementReporting

• SupportsFinanceandExecutiveleadershipbycompilingandanalyzingdatatocreatebusinessinsights
• Assistswithpresentations(charts,graphs,etc)offinancialinformationtoagencyleadership
• Createsreportstohighlighttrendsandevaluatebusinessperformanceagainstexpectationsandhistoricaldata

AdhocAnalysis

• Supportsagencyleadershipbyprovidingdataandanalysistosolvebusinessproblems.
• ExtractandsummarizedatafromGroupefinancialsoftwaretoassistleadershipteam

Qualifications

• Bachelor'sdegreeinFinanceorAccounting

Compensation Range: USD $50,065.00 - USD $66,360.00/NA. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
