Job summary

The ideal candidate has a Finance or Accounting degree, internship experience or 1+ year of work experience, and strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables).

Qualifications

• Chicago office 4x/week hybrid schedule.
• Relevant internship experience and/or 1+ year of work experience considered.
• Strong technical skills, especially Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables).
• Effective communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting and budgeting support for business unit Finance Directors.
• Analyze monthly and annual financial results with variance commentary.
• Ensure accuracy of information in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Anaplan.
• Develop expertise in financial software to update data and distribute reports.
• Share information to support strategic planning across Finance and other departments.

Responsibilities

ForecastingandBudgeting

• SupportbusinessunitFinanceDirectorsincreatingregularfinancialforecastsinlinewithPublicisGroupeschedule
• Analyzemonthlyandannualfinancialresults,providingcommentaryonvariancestoforecast
• EnsureaccuracyofinformationinGroupefinancialsoftware(HyperionFinancialMgmt–HFM&Anaplan)
• Developexpertiseinfinancialsoftwaretoregularlyupdatedataanddistributefinancialreports
• ShareinformationtosupportstrategicplanningacrossFinanceandotherdepartments

General&Administrative(G&A)costs

• ProvidesmonthlyreportingofG&Acoststobudgetholdersacrossdifferentdepartments.
• Worksacrossagencytogetcostscodedtoproperaccountandbudget.
• Analyzeactualcoststobudgetandunderstandvariancesandkeydrivers.

ManagementReporting

• SupportsFinanceandExecutiveleadershipbycompilingandanalyzingdatatocreatebusinessinsights
• Assistswithpresentations(charts,graphs,etc)offinancialinformationtoagencyleadership
• Createsreportstohighlighttrendsandevaluatebusinessperformanceagainstexpectationsandhistoricaldata

AdhocAnalysis

• Supportsagencyleadershipbyprovidingdataandanalysistosolvebusinessproblems.
• ExtractandsummarizedatafromGroupefinancialsoftwaretoassistleadershipteam

Qualifications

Compensation Range: USD $50,065.00 - USD $66,360.00/NA. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met.
