Descrição da oferta de emprego

Our client is an investment firm focused on renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure. The portfolio is diversified across clean energy asset types, including solar, storage, wind, and other renewable technologies. The firm combines deep energy market and financial structuring expertise with long standing client relationships to deliver strong returns and measurable environmental benefits.

The Role

The firm is seeking an Analyst or Associate to join its Portfolio Management team. At the Analyst level, the focus is modeling, financial analysis, research, reporting, and support for portfolio monitoring and new investment diligence. At the Associate level, the person takes greater ownership of modeling, portfolio analytics, commercial analysis, and new portfolio onboarding, exercising more independent judgment and helping guide junior team members.

Responsibilities
  • Review operating portfolio performance across a range of renewable energy investments, including production, pricing, revenue, operating expenses, and other asset level performance indicators
  • Work directly with investment counterparties to collect and verify operational and financial KPIs and resolve commercial issues
  • Build, maintain, and enhance financial models, including project operating proformas and portfolio level analyses, to assess economics, identify risks, and measure performance against underwriting expectations
  • Support development of internal portfolio monitoring tools, analytics, and reporting processes
  • Collaborate closely with cross functional teams
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc briefing decks and management materials summarizing portfolio performance, emerging risks, and value enhancing opportunities
  • Support due diligence on new investments, including production, operating expenses, price forecasts, and other underwriting inputs
  • Associates: own designated modeling and analytical workstreams, flag issues affecting portfolio performance, and propose solutions
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from a four year institution required; Master's in Finance, Economics, or Business a plus
  • Analyst: typically 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
  • Associate: typically 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, with demonstrated strength in financial modeling and independent analytical ownership

  • Strong Excel financial modeling and data mining skills, with experience in complex models
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Curious, organized, detail oriented, and able to manage shifting priorities
  • Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently while contributing as a team player
  • Genuine interest in climate investing and renewable energy markets
  • Associates: demonstrated excellence in modeling, sound judgment on assumptions, clear summary of model outputs, and ability to spot transaction level and portfolio level issues
