Global Engineering & Technology, Inc. (GET) seeks an Entry-Level Declassification Analyst to support the Navy's Declassification Program on-site at the Washington Navy Yard. You will receive training, certification courses, and mentorship to grow in your role.

The position requires an active Top Secret clearance, ability to start on 26 October 2026, and a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience). Entry-level salary begins at $68,000 per year, with a clear path for advancement and robust

• Bachelor’s Degree or anticipated near-term completion.
• 4 years of related military experience (e.g., intelligence analysis).
• 2+ years of declassification analysis experience per EO 13526.

Responsibilities

• Be trained to conduct initial declassification reviews for the U.S. Navy.
• Analyze unclassified and classified documents to determine actions.
• Apply knowledge of markings and symbols to various documents.
• Make determinations on release, referrals, or exemptions.
• Handle archival boxes (15–25 lbs) and preserve integrity.

This position requires a current Top Secret clearance.

This position is 100% ON-SITE at a cleared facility located at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC (parking will be provided at no cost).

Starting Salary

The entry-level Analyst's starting salary is $68,000 per year, often leading to promotion by the middle of their second year.

As an Entry-Level Declassification Analyst, you will work on-site at the Washington Navy Yard, a government facility in the District of Columbia, in support of the Navy’s Declassification Program. Duties and Responsibilities

• The Analyst will be trained to conduct initial declassification reviews in support of the U.S. Navy, and analyze unclassified and classified documents to determine the appropriate actions in accordance with the precepts and protocols set forth during their training and certification
• The Analyst will be instructed in the understanding of classified document markings and symbols, and apply said knowledge to the different types of documentation assigned
• The Analyst will utilize analytical skills to make determinations on documents for release, referral to other agencies, and exemption from automatic declassification
• The Analyst will recognize possible nuclear weapons and intelligence information requiring further review
• The Analyst must be able to properly handle boxes and documents (boxes can weigh between 15-25 lbs.) and ensure that the integrity of the contents of every archival box remains intact

Requirements

Security Clearance

• Candidate must possess an active Top Secret Clearance

Education, Skills, and Experience

• One of the following is required:
• A Bachelor’s Degree (or proof of anticipated near-term completion)
• OR 4 years of related military experience (e.g., intelligence analysis or classification analysis)
• OR 2+ years of experience performing declassification analysis based on Executive Order 13526
• Ability to communicate effectively – both orally and in writing
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills, reading comprehension, and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task, work in a team environment, and adjust to established work patterns and processes as required
