Job description

Position: Coordinator, Enhanced Care Management (ECM)

The Coordinator, Enhanced Care Management (ECM) supports the ECM team with administrative duties for CALAIM ECM and Community Support Program, focusing on documentation and record keeping. Health Administration Interns assist in removing barriers to care by identifying critical resources for clients.

  • Salary Range: $17.28 per hour
  • Reports To: ECM Director / Program Manager
  • Location: Sacramento (onsite)
  • Work Type: Regular
  • Schedule: Full Time (40 hours/week)
Position Description
  1. Assist in reviewing health benefits for clients.
  2. Support registration and enrollment processes for new and existing clients.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation as part of the ECM team.
  4. Collaborate with team members to improve administrative processes.
  5. Support other administrative duties as needed.
  6. Identify resources to help clients overcome barriers to care, such as transportation, housing, and childcare.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program (preferably in Health Administration, Public Health, Nutritional Science and Dietetics, Sociology, Psychology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields).
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 to be eligible.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to the healthcare team.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Computer literacy is desirable.
