Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Data Analyst / Data Developer to join our data team. This role is suitable for recent graduates or individuals aiming to build a career in data analytics and BI platform development. You will work with various tools and processes to collect, transform, load, and ensure data quality from multiple sources into an analytical system for analysis and reporting. Technologies involved include ThoughtSpot, Power BI, Informatica, Kafka, APIs, and Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain our self-service BI platform, including reporting and data pipelines.
• Create and modify reports, dashboards, SQL queries, and data pipelines to facilitate insights.
• Process semi-manual data files, identify efficiencies, and develop automated data pipelines.
• Implement automated data quality validation and observability solutions to ensure data integrity.
• Perform data cataloging using Informatica CDGC, including data source cataloging, documentation, and maintaining business glossaries.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver user-friendly solutions supporting strategic decisions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proficiency in Excel (functions and macros).
• Ability to create and modify SQL queries.
• Knowledge of Python or similar programming languages.
• Experience with ThoughtSpot or NLG software is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of data governance, quality, metadata, master data, analytics, BI reporting, and data science is a plus.
• Experience with data catalog tools like Informatica CDGC, Collibra, or Alation is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Understanding of Agile methodology is a plus.
