Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Data Analyst / Data Developer to join our data team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals seeking a career in data analytics and BI platform development. You will gain exposure to various processes and tools used to collect, transform, load, and ensure the quality of data from multiple sources into an analytical system for analysis and reporting. You will have the opportunity to work with industry-leading tools and technologies, including ThoughtSpot, Power BI, Informatica, Kafka, various API platforms, and Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining our self-service BI platform, including reporting and data pipelines.
• Build new and modify existing reports, dashboards, SQL queries, and data pipelines to facilitate business insights.
• Process data files requiring semi-manual transformations, identify efficiencies, and develop automated data pipelines.
• Create automated data quality validation and observability solutions to ensure data integrity across sources and platforms.
• Perform data cataloging using Informatica CDGC services: catalog data sources, reports, APIs, and document data flow across systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot data issues, and deliver user-friendly solutions supporting strategic decisions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proficiency in Excel, including functions and macros.
• Ability to create and modify SQL queries.
• Working knowledge of Python or other programming languages.
• Experience with ThoughtSpot or NLG software is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of data governance, quality, metadata, master data management, analytics, and BI reporting.
• Experience with data catalog tools like Informatica CDGC, Collibra, or Alation is a plus.
• Background working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology is a plus.
