Job summary

Exemplar Luxury Group is seeking a Customer Strategy Analyst to translate complex customer data into actionable growth strategies. You will build foundational SQL models, analyze audience behaviors, and design dynamic reporting that tracks performance across the customer lifecycle.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to identify churn risks, uncover high-value audience segments, and turn raw data into executive-ready recommendations that influence retention and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Storytelling: Manipulate and analyze raw datasets in Excel/Sheets to surface key trends and present findings.
• CRM Collaboration & Ticket Tracking: Submit clear requests to CRM team via Jira for targeted audience lists and monitor progress.
• Agile Data Extraction: Write basic SQL queries to pull, filter, and aggregate data for ad-hoc questions and routine reporting.
• Cross Functional Collaboration: Build relationships with cross-functional teams to align on business needs and opportunities.
• Proactive Problem Solving: Investigate abnormal metric shifts and dig into root causes.

YOU WILL BE:

As a Customer Strategy Analyst, you will translate complex customer data into actionable growth strategies. Working at the intersection of analytics, CRM, and commercial strategy, you will build foundational SQL models, analyze audience behaviors, and design dynamic reporting that tracks performance across the customer lifecycle. Beyond pulling insights, you will partner directly with cross-functional teams to identify churn risks, uncover high-value audience segments, and turn raw data into executive-ready recommendations that directly influence retention and revenue. Working directly alongside the Senior Manager of Customer Strategy, you will support in daily tasks of audience requests and propose new ideas and opportunities based on your findings.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Data Analysis & Storytelling: Manipulate and analyze raw datasets in Excel / Google Sheets to build pivot tables that help surface key trends. Study performance and present clear, easy-to-understand findings.

• CRM Collaboration & Ticket Tracking: Submit clear, detailed requests to the CRM team via Jira for targeted audience lists. Actively monitor requests, reply promptly to Jira comments/questions from the CRM team, and follow up to ensure requests stay on track and get delivered on time.

• Agile Data Extraction: Write basic SQL queries to quickly pull, filter, and aggregate data from internal customer databases to support ad-hoc questions and routine reporting.

• Cross Functional Collaboration: Build relationships with cross functional teams to gain a better understanding of the business needs and how customer strategy can support it.

• Proactive Problem Solving: Look past surface-level numbers. When a metric shifts unexpectedly, jump in, ask probing questions, and dig into the data to find underlying root causes.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• Bachelor’s degree

• 2-3 years of experience in a highly analytical and strategic role

Core Skills:

• Excel Proficiency: Skillful with data organization in excel (rows/columns, sorting/filtering) and using pivot tables to analyze data and deliver clear takeaways.

• Foundational SQL: Ability to write basic SQL queries (SELECT, WHERE, GROUP BY, simple JOINs) to extract and aggregate data.

• Snowflake Experience: Hands-on experience with Snowflake is a strong plus; experience with other cloud databases (BigQuery, Redshift, MySQL) is welcome.

• Jira Communication: Experience using Jira (or any project management platform) as a requester—submitting tickets, managing your submitted queue, and actively communicating via ticket comments to keep cross-functional requests moving forward.

Salary Range $72,000 - $89,000*

Compensation for this role varies by geographic location. The listed range reflects multiple markets, including higher-cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
