Deloitte UK is seeking an Assistant within CES to deliver high-quality services to the UK business, supporting colleagues and your People Leader to meet expectations. You will work with Jupiter, Conflict Check, TOP and SWIFT setup.

You will join a diverse team in a regulated environment, uphold policy compliance, and contribute to efficiency while growing professional skills in a hybrid Cardiff-based role.

Qualifications

  • Excellent research and analysis skills with good judgement and decision-making.
  • Strong communication skills to explain requirements to internal customers.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with colleagues across varied locations.
  • Strong organisation skills to manage workload and meet tight deadlines while handling customer expectations.
  • Confidence with Microsoft products and general application usage, including AI tools where appropriate.
  • Experience within a professional/financial services, global business service, project support or administrative support environment is preferred, but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of the CES systems and controls: Jupiter, Conflict Check, TOP and SWIFT.
  • Ensure regulatory and policy requirements are followed across the CES portfolio.
  • Deliver services within the CES portfolio including Jupiter opportunity management, Conflict check creation and conditions management, TOP setup and WBS code setup.
  • Possess good knowledge of operational processes and principles.
  • Deliver against personal KPI and SLA targets.
  • Collaborate within a diverse team to meet goals.
  • Engage with initiatives like CSI, Performance & Development and Engagement.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders across the department.

As one of the firm’s Enabling Functions, QRS Services provides specialist support to the business. Across QRS we bring together highly skilled, knowledgeable and experienced professionals to support the smooth running of our firm. As an enabling function, QRS Services will work alongside other enabling functions under EBS to provide services to the Firm. Operating in highly regulated environment, Deloitte is required to ensure the Firm, as well as our Partners and staff, are able to engage with clients without risk of conflict of interest, complying with Anti-money laundering legislation and financial reporting standards.

The Client & Engagement set-up (CES) function within QRS Services supports the business by ensuring the accurate setup of records throughout the entire Take-on lifecycle. This encompasses critical processes such as Jupiter opportunity management, Conflict Check, TOP, and WBS code setup in SWIFT.

Leveraging extensive knowledge of systems, best practices, and policy compliance, the CES function helps the business complete Take-on procedures efficiently and accurately. CES sits alongside Conflicts and CDD form a collective Client & Engagement Acceptance function.

As an Assistant within CES, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional quality work to the UK business, supporting your colleagues and your People Leader to ensure we meet business expectations and requirements. Activities will include:

  • Possessing good knowledge of the systems and controls CES operates with, namely Jupiter, Conflict Check, TOP and SWIFT
  • Ensuring regulatory and policy requirements are adhered to across the CES service portfolio
  • Delivering the services within the CES portfolio including but not limited to Jupiter opportunity management, Conflict check creation and conditions management, TOP set-up and WBS code set-up
  • Possessing good knowledge of operational processes and principles
  • Delivering against personal KPI and SLA targets
  • Working collaboratively within a diverse team to deliver against goals
  • Actively engage with frameworks and initiatives like CSI (Continuous Service Improvement), Performance & Development and Engagement
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders, requestors and your colleagues across the department
