Job summary

Macquarie Bank Limited in New York/Chicago seeks an Analyst/Associate to support the Software & Services M&A team. You will assist clients with financial and strategic needs and participate in advisory, capital raising and principal transactions, contributing to deal execution and portfolio services.

The role requires 1–4 years in investment banking, a finance/economics/maths degree, strong Excel/financial modelling skills, and solid understanding of financial statements.

The U.S. Software and Services team provides full-service investment banking and principal investment solutions to clients on a global basis, with offices in New York and Chicago. What role will you play?

You will be responsible for assisting our clients in meeting their financial and strategic needs. You will also be expected to participate in the full execution of advisory, capital raising and principal transactions, in the pursuit of new business opportunities, and in the servicing of existing portfolio investments including debt and equity positions.

What you offer

• 1-4 years of experience in investment banking (Software, Business Services or Technology, Media, Telecom M&A experience preferred)

Salary range for this position: $110,000 - $175,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
