Position Summary

The Senior Debt Portfolio Analytics Associate position focuses on designing and developing private debt investment portfolio performance and risk analysis reporting dashboards. Analysis performed requires the usage of Power BI, Alteryx and SQL for data integration, aggregation, and workflows. Additionally, this role, supports the development of a variety of risk analytics portfolio models – descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive models—using Python.

Responsibilities

• Engage in projects requiring data collection, data aggregation, investment portfolio reporting, and risk analytical work. This involves extensive data gathering, organization, and cleanup.
• Assist with project management and implementation of portfolio analytics projects that involve automation/digitization activities, working closely with the Investor Relations, Finance/Operations, and Business Solutions teams.
• Design and develop Power BI dashboards for Portfolio Management including: monitoring, analytics, risk management, fund reporting, and front-end activity.
• Maintain and develop data frameworks to enhance data governance and risk/performance analysis in investment portfolio internal and external reporting activities.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with focus on Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics or related field.
• 3-6 yrs experience in financial services with solid understanding of investment banking, direct lending, structured credit, and project management, or similar experience. Experience in investment portfolio analytics, or financial institutions risk analytics and/or modeling of investment portfolios is preferred.
• Understanding of credit risk in secured lending, as well as in investment portfolios dynamics, bringing together analytical conclusions from granular analysis with macro risk drivers is required.
• Knowledge around development and utilization of complex investment and risk portfolio performance models; using statistics, machine learning, and optimization techniques is required.
• Experience with data manipulation and reporting software, use/build SQL databases/tables, Power BI, Alteryx, Python is required.
  
  

For New York City only: The base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $140,000. The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and Audax reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. An employee may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance.
