Bank of America’s Restaurants team in New York covers about 24 listed and selected private companies in the restaurant and foodservice distributors sectors. The role requires deep analytical skills, financial modeling experience, and a passion for research.

The Restaurants team at BofA Research is responsible for covering approximately 24 listed companies across the restaurant and foodservice distributors sectors. In addition to coverage of publicly traded companies, the team regularly vets a number of private companies for potential IPOs. The candidate for the position should be highly analytical, intellectually curious, and have a deep desire to learn. Given the team’s heavy vetting load and fast‑paced nature of the restaurant industry, the candidate should also have relevant experience with financial modeling and quantitative analysis. The candidate should possess strong verbal communication and writing skills. The ideal candidate possesses experience in sell‑side research, investment banking, or roles that require complex data analysis and statistical modeling.

• Min 1 year of experience focusing in equity research, wholesale credit, buy side experience or investment banking experience
• Must have strong attention to detail, ability to multi‑task
• Strong writing and modeling skills. Must be an expert at MS Word and MS Excel
• Must be able to thrive in a fast‑paced and intense environment
• Must have excellent communications skills, written and verbal
• Must enjoy following the stock market and doing desktop and field research
• Along with Finance and Accounting, should have basic understanding of economics, macroeconomic factors, international affairs, and policy/politics
• Must work well in a collaborative team environment

Pay and benefits information: Pay range $110,000.00 - $175,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set. Discretionary incentive eligible.

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
