The Role
You will play a key role in assisting the asset management team in Dallas creating strategies and plans for our Student Housing asset portfolio to optimize resident experience, net operating income,and overall value of the assets/portfolio.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in the overall positioning of assets as well as the enhancement of cash flow and asset value; creating the reporting model for our US Student Housing portfolio
Prepare and manage our reports which cover the financial performance of the assets, leasing status, and rental collection
Work closely with the Asset Managers and Property Managers to ensure resident experience is optimized - that the assets are properly maintained, managed and compliant with regulations and coordinate with external parties like government authorities, brokers, etc
Prepare leasing memos and approval papers as well as variance analysis, and monitoring of budgets for the portfolio and fund
Assist our portfolio team in preparing portfolio level analysis and finance projects.
Manage market intelligence and collating global market / industry information to ensure competitiveness of the Company’s products and services
Ad hoc duties as required
Job Requirements
Degree in Real Estate, Building, Business, Finance, Engineering or its equivalent with experience in financial modeling / analysis
1+ years of relevant real estate or finance experience
Advanced Excel skills
Accounting knowledge is a plus
Operationally hands-on with sound financial grounding
High level of initiative/resourceful
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Entrata and Yardi is a plus
Experience working with Student Housing and/or Multifamily assets is a plus
