What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Build and evaluate business requirements and consult with stakeholders to ensure model design reflects business needs
2. Design, build, and maintain functionality and solutions in Anaplan in line with best practices
3. Continuously monitor and optimize Anaplan models for performance
4. Develop and maintain strong documentation on assumptions, models, and processes for end users and other model builders
5. Provide subject matter expertise on best practices using Anaplan while maintaining knowledge of current and emerging trends

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. Anaplan Certified Model Builder certified or equivalent training completed
2. 2-5+ years of experience working as a model builder in Anaplan or another EPM tool
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
5. Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

1. Anaplan Solution Architect certified
2. Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis, automation, and integration
3. Familiarity with QuickSight, Power BI, or other Business Intelligence software
4. Background in the insurance domain, particularly individual life insurance, annuities, group insurance, and/or retirement planning
5. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
