Role Overview

The Direct Operational Analytics team seeks a highly motivated analyst with strong analytical and technical skills to join the Capacity Analytics team. This team ensures the staffing adequacy of our core sales channel, the Direct Response Center, to meet growth, economic, and strategic objectives. The role is fast-paced and involves making real-time decisions to influence business outcomes. The analyst will have high visibility with Direct Channel leaders and collaborate across the organization on qualitative and quantitative inputs.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills driven by curiosity, capable of making data-driven recommendations, and possess a growth mindset for problem-solving. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

This role may require in-office work depending on the candidate's location.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and analyze call center staffing trends and performance to understand current and future states.
  2. Participate in planning and forecasting for call center recruiting, hiring, and staffing.
  3. Implement economically informed recommendations to enhance call center capacity.
  4. Relate ad hoc analyses and new trends to the broader context to prioritize initiatives and achieve long-term goals.
  5. Collaborate effectively with adjacent and stakeholder teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 2-4 years of experience, or Master's Degree with no professional experience, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software (SAS, Emblem).
  • Strong planning, analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of data sources, tools, and statistical principles.
  • Understanding of the supported business's intricacies is beneficial.
  • Awareness of how actions relate to system capabilities and impact financial and business drivers.
  • Ability to develop simple tools and queries for others.
