Job summary

Mickelson & Company is seeking an Analyst or Associate in Sioux Falls to coordinate closings of financial transactions and manage due diligence documentation for tax credit assignments. You will liaise with clients, counterparties, and advisers, and set up a shared due diligence site.

The role requires aBachelor’s degree and strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills, with a focus on accuracy and diligence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Preference for 5 years relevant experience in finance/closing roles.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Adobe, DocuSign, Salesforce.
• Ability to read and understand contracts and statutes.

Responsibilities

• Be technically proficient in legal and diligence matters, including tax requirements
• Read contracts and develop list of outstanding items
• Create progress reports on diligence status
• Work with renewables team of analysts, associate, director, vice‑president
• Other duties as assigned

Required skills

• Bachelor’s degree
• Preference for 5 years relevant experience, preferably in such fields as analyst, contract specialist, loan processor, real estate closing specialist, paralegal, other financial transactions
• Proficiency in software (e.g. Word, Excel, Adobe, DocuSign, Salesforce)
• Read and understand contracts, statutes, administrative rules
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Work effectively in a team‑oriented environment
• Strong organizational and detail‑oriented skills
• Pleasant persistence and tenacity
