Job summary

MACOM in Hillsboro, Oregon seeks a Design Engineer Intern for a 12-week Analog/Mixed Signal internship. You will work on a defined project and gain hands-on experience in next-generation optical communication circuits, under supervision and with training.

Requirements: MS or PhD in EE near graduation, specialization in analog/RF design; strong planning, interpersonal and teamwork skills. Cadence Virtuoso and Spectre experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be an MS student or PhD in Electrical Engineering near graduation with analog/RF focus.
• Strong planning, organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Cadence Virtuoso and Spectre experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support defined projects within the Analog/Mixed Signal team.
• Gain hands-on experience in next-generation optical communication circuits.
• Receive training, supervision, and participate in poster sessions and webinars.
• Present project outcomes and seek feedback during the internship.
