Job description

Join to apply for the Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuit Designer role at PseudolithIC.

Job Description

The Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer will contribute to core RF and millimeter-wave products developed in PseudolithIC's heterogeneous integration platform based on silicon and compound semiconductor devices. The designer will incorporate analog and mixed-signal circuitry for applications involving power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, frequency converters, and synthesizers. The role includes developing strategies for co-design between silicon and compound semiconductor devices, enabling the development of unique IP.

The engineer will work within the Design Group to produce high-performance circuits across various integrated circuit platforms, considering testing, packaging, and verification approaches that reduce product costs. Critical to this role is the development of calibration, control, and test circuitry operable in diverse environments. Collaboration with manufacturing and other stakeholders is essential. The candidate should be hands-on, independent, and capable of leadership, with a preference for experienced candidates ready for management roles.

Qualifications
  1. Deep understanding of analog and mixed-signal IC design, including development of IP blocks such as operational amplifiers, ADCs/DACs, and other analog circuits with optimized noise, linearity, mismatch, stability, and power consumption.
  2. Experience in designing and developing built-in self-test strategies.
  3. Modeling, design, and testing experience in silicon CMOS technology.
  4. Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso Environment and Keysight ADS.
  5. Knowledge of parasitic extraction and post-layout verification.
  6. Experience with design automation software.
  7. Minimum of 5+ years of industry experience in Si/SOI/SiGe design with successful product development.
  8. Strong communication and documentation skills.
  9. BSc, MSc, or PhD in electrical engineering or related field.
  10. Preferred: Experience with wireless/RFIC products.
