Job summary

Skyworks is offering an Analog IC Design Summer/Fall Co-Op in Irvine for a 6-month onsite program. You will learn and participate in developing RF front-end modules, working with experienced engineers and exploring full-time opportunities at Skyworks. The term is Summer/Fall Co-Op (June '27 - Dec '27).

You will design and simulate analog ICs, present in design reviews, perform lab testing with standard equipment, and collaborate with colleagues to advance Skyworks' innovative wireless solutions.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Electrical Engineering BS/MS/PhD program.
• Commitment to work onsite for 6 months in Irvine (June/July–Dec 2027).
• Strong desire to learn, grow and make an impact.
• Interest in analog circuit design.
• Willing to share knowledge and collaborate with others.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Cadence Virtuoso and SPICE highly preferred.
• Exposure to lab tools such as oscilloscope, function generator, multimeter.

Responsibilities

• Design/develop analog IC for multi-chip modules.
• Run simulations using Cadence Virtuoso.
• Participate in design reviews.
• Perform lab testing with standard electronics test equipment.
• Troubleshoot design or technical issues.
• Collaborate with other engineers and technicians.
